The Journey Person visited my studio a couple of weeks ago, and has written a little blog about the label and moving to Orange. I'm so pleased to have joined this little collective of artisans, I'll be at the winter pop up shop 4-6 of August!
A few weeks ago we gathered a few of our amazing friends and dressed them in the Backburn collection for the first of our Lex's Ladies series. We want to use these series to show how others style and adapt the collections to suit their personal style, as well as showcasing the clothing on body shapes beyond the usual model type. Our great friend and collaborator Hellene Algie joined us to capture the shots below.
Our next market date is locked in! Come join us from the 14-16th of July at the Melbourne Finders Keepers market. To find our more, and see the other amazing stall holders, check out the webpage here!
Last Saturday we have the pleasure of making a talk at the Australian Design Centre about Backburn, and the creative process behind it. We talked through our initial inspiration, concept development, colour choices and discussed our collaboration with illustrator Ayla Meridian. Click through to see a small exert from what was covered!
We are happy to announce that we are now available to find on fashion/shopping app and website, Brauz!
If you flick to page 110 of the latest issue of Frankie magazine you'll find a little section about us!
It is with great happiness we announce our first stockist!
The Australian Design Centre now has a selection of our scarves available in its Object Shop. For a full list of our stockists see here. Catch us this weekend at the Adorned Makers Market by the Australian Design Centre in Darlinghurst, Sydney. Run in conjunction with their Chili Philly: Crochet Social exhibition, we join many other great labels on Saturday the 25/2!
